Our Story

People often ask what F3 means.
The truth is, when the journey started, it was simply a name.

Looking back now, it means so much more.

I first picked up a whistle coaching my oldest son, Calvin, when he was around three years old. What began as a father spending quality time with his boy quickly grew into a deep passion for helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, accountability, and a genuine love for competition.

Today, I’m the father of three athletes—three kids with different personalities and unique journeys. Somehow, the number three has followed us every step of the way: Calvin often wearing #3, starting at age three, and F3 evolving into something far bigger than football.

 It became about family.
It became about development.
It became about guiding young athletes to become the best versions of themselves.

Growing up, I saw firsthand how mentorship, structure, and positive leadership can shape a young person’s life. Sports opened doors, taught lessons, and provided direction that reached well beyond the field. That belief is the foundation of F3ClinX.

Since those early days, I’ve coached football and basketball at every level—youth, middle school, spring and flag football, AAU, summer leagues, and athlete development clinics across Central Massachusetts.

I hold nationally recognized certifications through USA Football and NFHS in athlete safety, concussion protocols, coaching fundamentals, heat/hydration, and long-term development.

In 2023, F3ClinX was officially founded with a clear mission:
Develop athletes the right way.

 No shortcuts.
No hype.
No empty promises.

Only consistent work, accountability, education, and real growth.
That mission expanded into Fusion Basketball (which became Worcester Pulse Basketball) and led to the creation of American Youth Athletics (AYA)—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access, mentorship, and opportunities for young athletes throughout Central Massachusetts.

Today, F3ClinX serves as the premier athlete development arm, while AYA carries the broader vision of opportunity through sports, leadership, and community.

No matter how much the programs grow, the core remains the same:
Develop the athlete.
Support the person.
Build confidence, discipline, and accountability.
Create opportunities.

Leave every athlete better than we found them.
Because real success is bigger than wins and losses.
